Thee Toledo Reign have a golden
opportunity to claim the first division championship and first trip
to the playoffs as members of the WFA. This weekend the Reign host a
special event in Camden, MI and welcome in the division leading Derby
City Dynamite.
The Reign (2-4) snapped a four-game
losing streak with a 14-6 victory over the Cincinnati Sizzle on the
road last Saturday. The Reign defense carried the day with six Reign
defenders registering double-digit tackles. The defense will need to
stand strong against the running attack of the Derby City Dynamite.
The Dynamite (3-3) currently lead
Division 5 in the WFA despite last week's 12-6 loss in overtime to
the Memphis Dynasty. The Dynamite bring a potent running attack
where three rushers have eclipsed 100 yards rushing on the season.
The Dynamite edged the Reign 20-18 in
Louisville on May 19th and the Reign will look for payback
for that loss and their claim on the Division 5 championship.
Camden, MI is the site of this special home game for the Reign,
providing an opportunity for our fans in central lower Michigan,
northwest Ohio and northeast Indiana to see the Reign live and in
action. Former NFL lineman Matt Lehr will be in attendance as a
special guest of Thee Toledo Reign. Saturday is also Veteran's
Appreciation Day, where gate tickets for all vets are $4 and all vets
will be honored at halftime. Tickets are $6 at the gate for all
non-Veterans. You can follow the game live via our Twitter feed at
