Reign Looks to Continue Success in Home Opener!

4/8/11: At the end of the pre-season football camp, Thee Toledo Reign felt they had something special this year. After a decisive victory in the season opener it's hard to argue otherwise.

The Reign (1-0) left no doubt that they are an improved team after defeating the Dayton Diamonds 61-0 in Dayton. No weaknesses in Toledo's game were present after the Reign racked up 369 yards in total offense, didn't allow a first down on defense, and saw seven different players find the end zone. Excitement and anticipation are at a high level as the Reign prepare to take on the Kentucky Karma.

The Karma (0-1) take their second road trip of the season after falling last week to the Detroit Dark Angels 14-0. Though in the end they were on the losing side, the Karma showed that they are by no means pushovers, holding the Dark Angels scoreless in the first half and battling until the final whistle.

Come cheer on the Reign as they meet the Karma for the first time ever this Saturday, April 9th. Gates open at 6pm with kickoff at 7pm. Tickets at the gate are $6. As a special bonus to our fans, anyone that comes to the game wearing a Reign Fan Club shirt of any of our players will get $1 off the gate price! Don't worry if you don't have a Reign Fan Club shirt, we will have some for many of our players available at the merchandise booth.
