Reign Host Diamonds This Weekend!

5/7/11: As we reach the halfway point of the 2011 WFA season, there are few turnaround stories that can match the story of Thee Toledo Reign.  A preseason of hope has turned into a season of results and the Reign look to continue their march toward the playoffs this Saturday as they host the Dayton Diamonds.

The Reign (3-1) are coming off an exciting 19-6 win against the Detroit Dark Angels to take the lead in the march toward the North Central 2 title.  The Reign have turned heads this year with a Top 10 offense and a Top 5 rushing attack, not to mention a dominating defense that have caused 15 turnovers so far this season.  This week the Reign have a rematch with their opening week opponent as they welcome the Dayton Diamonds to Gallagher Stadium.

The Diamonds (0-3) visit Toledo looking to avenge an opening week loss to the Reign.  The Diamonds come into this weekend building on their best defensive effort of the season against Cincinnati and will use the lessons learned in the season opener to compete this weekend in this important divisional matchup.
