Performing the pre-game coin toss this Saturday, we are very excited to welcome our special guests, Jane Ann Zeigler and Porshia the Therapy Dog!
Jane Ann is the Community Outreach Director at American Cremation Events where she assists patients and families with celebrating life events, partners with local hospices, home health care agencies, residential communities, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Porshia has been working with Jane Ann for 4 ½ years and received Therapy Dog Certification in Detroit in March 2014. Porshia specializes in trauma, oncology, terminally ill diagnoses, hospice and end of life comfort for patients and families.
Together, Jane Ann and Porshia visit their patients at area hospitals, inpatient hospices, and residential communities. They have dedicated hours with Ohio Living Hospice, ProMedica Ebeid Hospice, Good Grief of Northwest Ohio, and Cancer Connection of Northwest Ohio.
