Reign Host Dark Angels For Edge In Division!

Opened the season with two strong victories. Fell on the road to tough opponents prior to the bye week. Thee Toledo Reign and the Detroit Dark Angels have walked a very similar path over the first three games of the 2011 season. They collide this weekend at Gallagher Stadium with first place in the North Central 2 division on the line!

The Reign (2-1) come home looking to shake off a 54-12 loss to the West Michigan Mayhem in Vicksburg April 16th. Despite the final tally the Reign improved on their league leading rushing totals and will no doubt bring the defensive fury that produced back-to-back shutouts to start the season. To do so they will need to slow down the Detroit Dark Angels.

The Dark Angels (2-1) started the season with back-to-back wins by a 47-7 margin. After a loss April 16th 33-6 to the Indy Crash the Dark Angels will try to right the ship and get back to their winning ways. With a balanced offensive attack and a speedy defense the Dark Angels are sure to prove a formidable test for the Reign.

Only an hour separates these two rivals and the intensity is sure to be high in this divisional battle. Come out to Gallagher Stadium for an early season Showdown Saturday April 30th at 7pm. Tickets are $6 at the gate, gates open at 6pm. As an added treat for our fans, anyone attending wearing Reign gear will get $1 off the gate price!
